12 Feb Laura and Jimi – Shambala Festival

Shambala Festival.

I often work at Shambala, an incredibly colourful and fun festival (I could write forever on Shambala but I’ll be going off-piste somewhat) it was one gloriously sunny afternoon in the queue for a pizza with my two daughters when I met these two lovely people who had just got engaged, literally that morning on the double decker café, the Tea Stop. Jimi had arranged everything, I’m sure with his connections it wasn’t too difficult – Jimi Needles is a DJ who was playing that night.

They had the top deck to themselves and he had arranged for an orchestra to be there playing their song when he did it too, how cool is that? What a great man, what a lovely couple.

I arranged to meet them later that day for a little photoshoot to record this momentous occasion. I also saw them later that day at one of the venues, still celebrating and very much in love.

Can’t wait to go back to Shambala again this year to see what happens…
