13 Feb Claire and Jake – Hartpury Church

Hartpury Church and the National Perry Pear Centre.

Claire and Jake’s day was just magical. The service was in the beautiful church at Hartpury, on a gorgeous sunny day. The flowers, a selection of wild grown seasonal offerings decorated the church to a very professional level, they were arranged and selected by Claire’s step mother Wendy. The church was fantastic, it had a side door that allowed me to photograph everyone from the alter, including Claire walking down the isle with her father Steve. I was able to nip out without interrupting proceedings to continue shooting from the back. I find these small things exciting.

It was a very short hop to the venue; the National Perry Centre also in Hartpury where we found a beautifully decorated marquee, clearly a lot of work had gone into making this day very special for these two.

An Ice-cream van, a succulent hog roast and much merriment was the order for the rest of the day. As always, it was a pleasure to be there and record the day for these two lovely people.
